The LBFI's first film venture is a documentary based on Jean-Claude Carriere's: The Secret Language of Film. Carriere's has worked with Directors such as Luis Buñuel, Louis Malle, Milos Forman, Volker Schlöndorff, Phillip Kaufman and Peter Brook. Carriere has written over 133 films. He is considered one of the most important screenwriters in the world.

Film Project:
The LBFI endeavors to begin production of The Secret Language of Film this
year. The documentary will be directed by Juan-Luis Buñuel. The documentary
will draw from archival material--some of which has never been seen publicly--from Filmoteca Española, Centro Buñuel de Calanda, and the Buñuel estate.

Wishing to collaborate with fans of Buñuel and Carriere--and all cinephiles--the LBFI is asking the public for financial support in making this film.
